Dalby Red Run Challenge

You know that thing off Top Gear where they have a star in a reasonably priced car, and they have a leader board for fast times. This is like that. Except without the stars. Or the cars.

How fast can you get round the whole red route, starting and ending at the Low Dalby end next to the Purple Mountain shop? We can’t police this, so it depends on your honesty. No shortcuts, no chicken runs, no ‘I know a bloke who can do it in 90 minutes.’ (We don’t believe you!) Your result will be more credible if you’ve got a GPS log to prove it, or a fellow club member to back you up.

You’ll need a stopwatch at least. We need to know your time, the date, and what you were riding, along with any diversions you had to ride. There’s no prize for being on the leader board – just glory! Please submit your ride time to Dan Joyce (danjoyce@btconnect.com) to put on the website.

The Red Run Challenge wil be incorporated into an early summer Thursday night club ride to time the ride, and then compared to late summer ride.

The time is total elapsed time, including any and all stops. So if you’re going to puke, do it quickly!
