British Cycling have arranged for a strong Go-Ride presence at the Dalby Mountain Bike World Cup in April and as part of this presence there is going to be an invitational Go-Ride club exhibition race. The race is scheduled for 1pm on Sunday 25th April in between the elite women’s and elite men’s races. The race will use the same start/finish as the elite races and will consist of a series of short laps out of the arena, through Dixon’s Hollow which is basically a tame 4X track and back into the arena. Dixons Hollow does include berms and pump/rhythm sections so riders will need to be reasonably competent on a mountain bike to negotiate the course. If the kids can ride around a BMX track they will be fine.
British Cycling are asking for 10 Go-Ride Club teams of 4 x Under 14 riders (under the age of 14 on 1st January 2010)
So I am looking for some riders to enter because we are a Go Ride club we need any riders that fit this age group who are either members of our Youth Academy (Go Ride) or have family or individual membership of the club. We can provide MTBs. Please can I have any names before the end of the month.
Thanks
