Richardsons Cycle Club has received an invite from the British Cycling Olympic Development Coach. This is an opportunity for two of our under 16s to attend development days on road and MTB skills. These events will be held in April and are for our riders to ride with some of the UKs best young riders and a chance for national coaches to meet and assess potential riders of the future who could eventually be supported by a place on the National talent team.
These are the dates:
1st road circuit on Thursday 8th April at Hetton and the 1st MTB for the northern regions on Friday 9th April at Dalby.
One rider has already been nominated and there is one place left. So if you fit the bill then contact club coach Mark Grange on markg20@hotmail.com
Nominations by 23rd March.
There is some criteria that is applied to all nominations so even if you do not fit the criteria this time Mark can advise you on what you need to be doing to develop.
