On-One Inbred singlespeed for sale: £140 or nearest offer.

Ideal winter bike or messing about on hack bike.

This is the 26in wheel bike I had before I got my 29er. It's mostly been used as a town bike so despite plentiful frame chips, it's in good working order with true wheels, replaced chainset, new brake pads, new chain, new freewheel.

Size: 18in frame (suit rider about 5'9″ to 6'1″)

Frame: chrome-moly steel, with horizontal dropouts (if you want to run gears you'll need a gear hanger chaintug from DMR - about £15)

Fork: rigid chrome-moly steel, with disc mount

Gearing: 32 chainring on Deore LX chainset, 16t BMX freewheel (new), 1/8″ chain (new)

Wheels: On-One hubs and Reetard rims (still true but the bearings will die eventually), Panaracer Fire XC 2.1″ tyres

Brakes: v-brakes (Avid and Deore), with new pads

Email me (Dan) for information or just post questions here if you have any. I have pics and will try to put one up here.

Now reduced to £125 ono. I've since removed the Deore LX chainset and bottom bracket (because I'd knackered those on my 29er). I've replaced them with a brand new Shimano UN26 bottom bracket, a decent condition M442 chainset, and a 32T chainring with minimal wear. Chain, freewheel and brake pads are also new.

The frame has plenty of scratches and marks, but the bike as a whole is in good running order since it was used primarily as a town bike for the last five years (with different tyres, mudguards etc).

It's ideal bike for messing around on in winter, at a price that will cost less than replacing your best bike's drivetrain next spring. Test rides available. It's an 18in frame. It fits me perfectly (I'm 5ft 10in), so you'll need to be somewhere around my height to get a good fit on it - depending on how stretched out or sat up you want to be.

Also for sale: an old (but great working order) Tacx fan turbo trainer. £20. A much better investment than a gym membership.
