The new trophies for this year have arrived…..some bling and one black glass…very nice.
Thanks to Boyes Stores for sponsoring the service to the club trophy.

Just a reminder get your menu choices in for the club dinner.
There will be some awards on the night - club trophies and some light hearted awards
Hazel is doing a quiz and there will be a display of press clippings from the years events
Also please hand in any raffle prizes to Debbie at the shop - the evening raffle is there to raise money for the club.
Will be a good night and a chance to reflect on 2009.

Cracking night at The Everley for the dinner. Well done, Jackie.  Good to see 40 or so club members out.
Excellent food. Good quiz that gave the non-cyclists a chance to get involved (thanks Hazel). And some worthy award winners.
I'll post a proper report shortly, with pictures.

Yes big thank you to Jackie foir organising the night- excellent choice of venue and the food was fantastic. Jackie was also there early doors to arrange the tables.
There was a very good mix of road and mountain bikers.
Thanks to all those who came along to support the night.
The sponsored trophies were very good quality and thanks to the sponsors and their generous donations to the club.
Hazel is now looking for an alternative party game for the start of the night for next year…..lets hope its not Twister.
I am sure the photos from the night will appear soon.

It was a great night. Thanks so much to everyone attending. Jackie made it a great evening for us all. I was reminded of the first club meeting, Jackie had come along, not to join but just to see what it was all about and to stop me taking on too much. She was absolutely not going to do anything official! Such a good job she changed her mind as she is a great asset to the club. Thanks too to Hazel and Mark for the quiz etc etc, to Lorraine for her organized drum rolls, you had to be there! Now i guess we should get back on the bikes and ride!
