Its the club committee meeting this Monday has any members got anything for the committee?
We have at the moment apart from the usual reports:
1. Events for 2011 - if you have any suggestions let the committee know.
2. Formation and support of a race team for 2011
Any other items you would like raising then email: lorraine at richardsonscc@googlemail.com or via the contact form via this site.

Hi Mike and Lewis
In answer to your questions to the committee (even though you are not club members):
1. No to second claim type membership. We believe that our membership fees are good value for 12 months. The club is putting a lot back to its members not only in providing cycling opportunities through club rides, coaching and club trips. Also free loan of equipment and a grant scheme for young riders. We have a membership of some 94 which shows we must be getting something right.
2. More time trials - the summer series at Burton Fleming will stay in 2011 and we will be dropping the King of Speed Series -probably a series of 10 mile events held on the Snainton/Yedingham course. So there will be plenty of club events for you. We have an events discussion in Nov.
However my advice to any young cyclist is do not commit to one discipline too early try road racing, MTBing and cyclo cross. You might find the first one you started is not your best discipline.

Yes it was discussed and you have posted details on this site but a bit late to make it a competition for the club. Maybe next year?
I am sure some of the club may ride it.
