I've been in touch with the council about running a cycle jumble or bring-and-buy at the Village Hall in Sawdon on the day of this event. We don't need planning permission nor a 'temporary event notice', so long as we don't sell alcohol, provide hot food after 11pm or have a performance of regulated entertainment. 

So if we want to do it, we can just do it, after we've decided on a format. It's not essential to the day, however, so if we decide we don't want to do it, that's fine too. Since I won't be able to lead any rides, I'm happy to stand in the hall and sell stuff, if required.

We will have at least one fast group and one family group, people have bought tickets with that expectation and we think the help side is covered both to lead rides and the BBQ with the above group.

Just need a few punters. Sold up to 20 tickets so they are going quite fast now, will expect a few more closer to the 12th.  nip into the Richardsons Shop and pick one up today, £4, cheap as chipe for a great day out.
