Hi you will see that this site has the function for chat listed on the top toolbar of the site.  To use this you will need to log on with a name and password. Please use your real names so it is obvious who we are chatting to.

This is for live chat can I suggest that if you are online this evening at 7.30pm can you log onto the live chat and we can try it out.  I suggest we can have a chat amongst members on topics such as:

How you find the new website?

What you want to see on the site and in the club?

Club feedback such as what you want from the club?

We can also answer any questions you have.

Cheers hopefully chat tonight

Open your picture you want to upload using a picture software on your computer such as microsoft picture manager and change the pixel size to 50×50 (it will only accept this as max size) save to your hard drive as this smaller picture then upload from there.

Seem to be on here a lot whats up with the paragon forum?!

How many entries have you had for the 5×5 series on 21st?  I did contact one of our members who is 15 a couple of weeks ago about it he wants to get into racing but he has not got back to me.

Got that sorted thx.Wink

I'm just trying to get into the lead but MikeS keeps pulling away.Yell

There are no 'entries' as you just turn up on the day, there is no where to hand them in as such. I've got a few of Michaels mates to come along, the more the merrier it will make it better if there is plenty of competition going on. It may have to be a long term project to get this 5×5 thing going, like you said on our forum, get some of the kids from go-ride to come as thats the idea. Get them away from the screens and stop the blubber forming. Dave Wilson did all this years ago and had over150 kids through his books, I noticed that this cup wasn't been 'used' any more as we didn't have five 5m races anymore so this is where it all started in December/January I think. Paragon have done a lot of ground work to get this going for this year, and a lot of time has been taken to get everything sorted, as you know you can't just say 'lets do this' and simply do it.

Time trialling is you and nobody else, unlike road racing where if you haven't got a team, no matter how good you are you won't win diddly squat. Race of truth, no hiding and having a rest. It's all about having a good time and trying to beat your Pb, oh and getting into the pain, if it isn't hurting like hell every second you're not trying hard enough. Surprised

Thats no joke as well, 100% flat out it's the only way.

For those of you who have never done road racing before, you can race in a series called TLI and pay for a day licence, our closest races are this side of Hull and also a bit further a field The Croft Tees, these are handicapped so if your new to it you get an early start before they let the rest go.

Very different to Time Trialing on and off the pace can get interesting in the bunch shoulder to shoulder but real good fun always a friendly bunch, get ya self along Tommo you never know you might enjoy it.Smile

If anyone is interested and wants to know more how where when costs etc let me know
