A good session this week for the Youth Academy.  The session with the six riders concentrated on step through dismounts and off camber descents and ascents.   The session was followed off with two short cyclocross races involving a dismount, carry and an off camber descent.   The course had several sections aptly named by the riders and coaches as shoe straight, v corner, fence alley followed by mushroom gorge.  First race was won by Matt Graves and second race by Daniel Froom.

Next week the riders are going on a short mtb ride through Raincliffe woods.

The acedemy meets every sunday at 2.30pm at Sixth form college.  The academy is open for 12 to 16 year olds.
