I have had lots of positive feed back re the Challenge Days. So much so that i am planning to do an extra one. We have one booked in for August but i will do another one i think end April or May. Any thoughts anyone?. I did wonder about Easter Monday? Some feed back would be appreciated and i will let you know plans. The course will prob be the same, well almost, tho i will def stick with the 2nd way round! I will need volunteers to man the chuck wagon!

Don't forget that on Sunday 24th, there's the road riding day up at Middlesborough, plus it's also the first of the Nutcracker XC race series. How about 1st May?

May is is Enduro 6 which a lot of the club are doing. The following week Tom and i have a short ride at Newcastleton. Could do the week after. Any more suggestions?

Is it possible to ride the course on cyclo cross bikes?

ie. Any mad drop offs and difficult rocky sections are a no no for cyclocross. Mud - yes!

Damn good Engineering Draughtsman, air cooled VW lover and Karmann Ghia owner.

yes it would be fine. The downhill has one routey drop off but it is ok to roll. The rest is fine. Be great to see you there. Just hope to find a date to suit all!

Sunday 10th April? Sunday 29th May? Don't think there will be a date to suit everyone, Debbie, so as organiser it's whatever suits you. 15th May is another Nutcracker, plus an RCC led ride for beginners. That won't take many of us out of the event, but some. 22nd is World Cup.
