Well we has three groups out tonight,

Anti social

This was Little Hopper, Nigel the skills and Formally of Langdale richard. Im guessing they did Raincliffe as we never saw them after we left the pub.

Social,

Ravenscar Chris, Father Ted, Elec-Rick, Purple Lee and Matt, (still can't remember the nick name i gave himConfused) They headed up Hay Brow , did the outside tracks, then Elec-Rick decided to try and write off his rear mech. Not a total success as the body survived but it was a trip to see the lovely Deborah, ( ok ok ) and purchase jockey wheels and a rear mech hanger, oh and a 2.5mm allen key which is the annoyingly small size cube use. Tip if you ride a Cube check you have one! A puncture was the other mechanical of the eve then back to the pub.

The Girls. AKA The injured

A new group was formed tonight. All girls, me with a bad cold and torn calf muscle, Siobahn with a damaged ankle and Lorraine to keep an eye on us and make sure we didn't just sneak back to Siobahn's and crack open a bottle of wine! We followed the social guys but missed one off road section but time and the ankle got to Siobahn and she soon turned back. Lorraine and i sent the boys on there way and we spent the rest of the ride on tarmac to avoid anymore stress on my leg. It was good to get out. I can't believe how little riding i have done of late. Must try harder!

So to the sausages.

The Rosette has offered to give us riders a free snack after the ride. Only when the guys went in they went in disguise. All bike kit stayed in the cars and so the Rosette staff didn't realize who they were and ate the sausage and chip butties them selves!!! So next time ANNOUNCE YOURSELVES or carry a helmet into the pub!!

Thanks to the Rosette though!
