Just to let you know  Dalby Forest has closed it's visitor centre due to the snow!

I went up the railway path on a 'cross bike from Cross Lane to Hayburn Wyke earlier on. It's actually better than it was, with the new snow providing some traction. It was like an ice rink before. It's still quite heavy going, with crumpy snow that requires lowish gears.

I was wrong!

All cycle routes closed off because of ice. Apologies for mis information.

There are a few forestry metaled roads that have been partially cleared and are rideable, but thats about it.

Not sure when routes will reopen. It was snowing again up there today quite bad and still at least a couple of foot snow and big drifts.
