There were 18 out tonight. We split 50/50 so 9 socials set out. Garth hadn't made it due to a poorly daughter so i try to give his replacement drop out from Anton to Orange Lee. Except i couldn't get it out of my pocket in the back of my top. Neither could lee. By now we were getting some strange looks from the anti-socials so Jax the hough to the rescue. Apparently we were both looking in the wrong pocket! Ah!!!
So off we went to do the Red Well we nearly did, but before we left the cars Simon The Meercat got a puncture, soon fixed and we were off on the Red, well except Father Ted said 'ok but can we do Guillotine Alley too?
So a quick change of plans and we set off to pick up the red from the top of Aliens Alley. Father Ted set off at a cracking pace and as i was just explaining that there were a few roots as you went into the singletrack The Meercat hit a stump and was straight over the bars, Elec-Rick had no where to go but over the bars too and somehow Orange Matt was able to fall off backwards and land on Elec-Rick! No real harm done and we were off again. Shrek, out on his new bike was feeling left out at this point and managed the first of his many 'offs' By the end of the night there had been quite a few more, another over the bars for Elec-Rick, Orange Lee ditto, Orange Matt, i think maybe as well but Shrek took the honours with about 6 offs!
We did the old red to nearly Dixons Hollow with a short diversion through some natural single track which had some very low trees which even Dylan the Crusher found a bit too low! Shrek lost his helmet at one point! I was really struggling to keep up with the pace, then one of the guys asked why was i riding with a flat tyre! Jax the Hough took the advance party off to ride the two sections of red after the woop de woops whilst i sorted out my bike. We all joined up except for Orange lee who had a snapped chain. A quick blast back to him, he had it sorted and we were off again.
Time was moving on but we all sped off up old wives way to pick up the moorland track to guillotine alley. a fab blast along, then Rick, Lee etc had their competition of best over the bars of the evening. I think we are maybe becoming a little anti-social, well done guys!
Time was moving on so i shortened the rest of the route and we climbed up the road hill from the lake. Everyone was rather shattered by this point, my slow puncture was loosing air again, well that's my excuse for Dylan the Crusher being able to overtake me.

Not sure of the milage but Simon the meercat has an app so hopefully he will let us know! Not too much mud, i am falling in love with Dalby all over again!
