Hi folks - just a little note to say that the very next Mountain Bike Orienteering event is at Wkyeham Forest on the 7th May. For those who haven't had a go it's a timed event for 3 hours where you rush around the forest gathering points as you go.  The skill is in deciding the route and getting there as fast as you can ! It is suitable for racers and families as you race against the clock.  You can do it just for fun or in serious mode.  It would be great to have as many club members there as possible as it is on our turf. As a bonus you get a detailed map of the forst ! You can ride solo, in pairs, as a family, as a generation team, as an old godgers team of two, husband and wife.  There are many different categories to choose from. Tim Watts and myself are in the league and try and do as many events as possible.  Last year we came second in our category but this year we have gone up one group to the one where your combined age is over 100 (whose fault is that ?).
