good ride today with Rob……Dan had to peel off home early after a gear shifting issue he could not solve at the trail side! Hope you have diagnosed the issue.


Rob promised an easy ride but that never materialised  it turned out to be hard especially after that road ride yesterday.  ….it was good to see a number of Richardsons riders out…Jackie, Rich Waller and the crew that shouted to me …..no idea who you were but saw a flash of the club gear as they went in the opposite direction?!!?

Couldn't solve the gear slipping at home either. (I tried all the usual stuff.) Got a bit Yell, then took the gears off and fitted a 20T single sprocket. That showed it. Then I went back to Dalby in did the red run in the afternoon. In your face, red run. In your face, slipping gears. 

On the plus side, my bike is now 2-3lb lighter and the drivetrain is spot on. On the down side, I feel like I've been beaten with sticks. Haven't done the whole red route in a while. I forgotten how choppy it was, especially the bit from the bomb holes to the visitor centre. 

On my way out to Dalby I saw Carl getting some miles in on the road bike.

Was hoping to get out on MTB but not yet finished, new formula R1 disc brakes awesome, need to cut hoses any body got a bleed kit avid or formula i can borrow???Smile got a hilly zone 4 / 5 ride in ouchFrown was crawling home when you saw me DanYell legs and knees ouch

I know what you mean. 65m on Friday and Saturday, 45m on Sunday.

Feel it now! Rest day today (Mon) Croft Race on tuesday, Club TT on Wednesday and Thursday. Club ride on Friday.

I love it. Ride to enjoy! Cool
