I see that and raise you. I'm Phil Liggett's mate. Well, maybe not mate. But I've worked with him and he knows who I am.

Edit: And I've been in a TdF team car with Bernard Thevenet.

RCC rock harder.

I once sold a motorway service station meal to C-list comedian Jimmy Cricket. He didn't say anything funny. (No surprise there!) When he asked me how much it was (I was on the till), I resisted the temptation to say 'C'm 'ere'.

Ive also spent an evening with Bobby Davro (before Eastenders) in a caravan on a holiday camp in Truro. He was very depressing. Cry

I was mates with Barry Sheene (double Moto GP Champ) and he always made sure I got VIP passes for Oliver's Mount pit area etc.

I've still got his photo (signed) on my office wall.

I've been for a curry in Milton Keynes with the Athertons. They were drinking orange juice and lemonade. Downhillers aren't what they used to be. Wink

I've chatted to Magnus Backstedt, who gave me an award for RCC being such a top club. Smile (See http://richardsonscc.co.uk/2011/04/rcc-win-national-award/)

Being on the same piece of tarmac as Wiggo does not count as racing against, ive been in a road race with Dean Downing but hardly raced against him i stood no chance and got my arse kicked big time.

Yeah and Wiggo is better than Downing, I mean he isn't even best in his family.

Still qualified for, and raced in the same race (or same piece of tarmac) as Wiggins either way. Cool

He showed everyone how to do it that day - awesome. He told us after that it was a low key under the radar approach to the Tour and everything was going well, and it was until he crashed. So we'll never know.
