I was the sweeper on the moderate off-road ride at Dalby tonight. Well, at the start anyway. Stopped for a pee, saying I'd catch up. Next junction, no one.  I did find the beginners' ride. But rode up and down and couldn't find the moderate ride. Gave up and had a blast around on me tod.

Does the club have any walkie talkies? I was using some just this last weekend, assistant mountain bike leading in North Wales. They were really useful - only occasionally, but when they were they were indispensable. 

 Six would do it - though not all might be always be needed. Two per ride is fine: one for the leader, one for the sweeper (i.e. assistant at the back).

It's ironic that I was banging on about walkie talkies tonight, then it was me that got separated! 

Will bring them to committee meet on Monday .  You holding onto them?
