A pretty big group of us met at the Moorcock. The anti social headed off by the river and up to Lilla. Apparently they found mud and rain. Where as us social group were not bothered by rain or mud. We choose our route wisely.Wink

I planned to head up towards Steve's dad's hat downhill and explained to Father Ted that was where we were going. 'No Probs” was his reply and then he set off in another direction altogether! This meant the middle track climb, we met some motor cross bikes on that section, they did no damage there but the downhill after is clearly being destroyed. It's a bridle way, they should not be there, it is totally unsuitable for them and means my hidden downhill will soon become unrideable. Yell Lizzie back out after a few weeks off had clearly forgotten a couple of useful skills, one of them being to use your brakes on a downhill! She stayed on, just! Go girl! After 3 climbs that seemed harder than they should be, i realized my seat post had slipped down and boy does it make it harder !

We decided to stay on Tedman's route and headed downhill at crosscliffe which was in very good condition and meant a very fast descent! We bumped into the anti social group who looked like they had been out on a different night as they were wet and muddy! We felt quite smug and blasted off around the back Fylingdales and down seven mile hike. A good ride with good company, thanks
