On a night that felt more like September than December, there were just three of us out for the fast ride: Mike, Richard and me. We had a fairly easy ride from the Everley: up Wrench Green, outside track, across Wykeham to Troutsdale, up and over the ridge to Darncombe and back. Mike was going very well on his new 29er (watch out, Steve Hopper!) Richard got mud in a contact lens. I felt like a bloated wine sack but didn't hit the wall at least.
