As usual we regular riders had a  xmas meal at the Anvil, but that was the only usual part of the evening! First of all due to the weather being more like Siberia than North Yorkshire i had to work out a plan simply to get us all up there. Thanks must go to Matt and the yellow taxi, who took me, Too Tall Tom, Andy Jelly Bean, Lizzy and Jackie, Elliot's dad for taking Elliot and Brendon, Philip's better half for ferrying herself and Philip there, Siobahn for bringing Nigel and Jools,Pickering Dave after a 2 hour defrost of his car, Pickering being that bit worse than anywhere else collected Squeak,  Little Hopper for bringing hackness Mike and Langdale Richard,  Tedman made his own way there and Nick and Andrea walked to the pub! Some brave souls went sledging, hopefully someone will post how that went. I sat in the pub with a hot toddy and a book, heaven! The meal as usual was wonderful especially as i only ordered food for 20 not 21 but the Anvil fed us all! Thanks! Tedman was on fire, literally, we toasted Lapierre many a time, a fun night was had by all. Thanks to everyone for their company, but guess it is back to cycling and chips!
