A really good turn out. 22 riders. I led the social group. We gained Langdale Richard as he had no brakes and he felt it wiser to be with us rather than the best 2 downhillers in scar, welcome to them, Dan and jim. Tedman who was advised not to mountain bike fought with Brendon and Anvil Nick for the front. We had Lucy out on only her 2nd night ride and about her 6th ever mountain bike ride, snapping at their heels! Tedman tried manfully to wind her up but she gave as good as she got, good girl! Infact Tedman was actually speechless at one of her replies, i don't think i can repeat her answer, because well you had to be there! We had a good fast ride with all the group keeping together really well, tho i did sound rather like a fish wife shouting out instructions. I won the race down to the pub, i only mention this incase Mark reads this and then he knows im trying!
