For a change we met at the Grapes tonight, been quite a while since we were there. I forgot to ask if it was ok to park and they were rather overwhelmed by us all turning up without any warning! I promised to let them know next time, girl guides honour ! I led the social at quite a fast pace which rather pleased me and hopefully Martin and Buttons were happy too! Nigel the skills led his merry band of, formally Langdale Richard, Russ the Pliers, Phil Travolta, and out for about only his 2nd ride this year but very welcome was Malcolm, i think that was all. We all headed up the off-road route up into Dalby, by the farm the fast lot had dropped us, and as agreed sped off. They went looking for overgrown trails, and were not disappointed! 

I gave martin and Buttons a choice, in the woods or distance, distance they said, so i headed off into the woods! Well i saw some interesting looking single-track and what's a girl to do??! When i explained that the next bit would be muddy, did they want to do it? They realized it wasn't really a question, ( i do like it when they get what is expected of them with no moaning) and off we went into the mud! As they had been so good i decided not to do the whip lash trails and headed onto some wonderful singletrack, then we found a downhill and finally headed back to the pub!
