Eight of us antisocials set off from Wykeham tonight: Nigel, Russ, Dave, Paul, Richard, Alistair, Keith and me. Nigel led us on a winding route all over Wykeham. Very muddy and a bit rooty, but interesting. We bumped into the socials on the outside track.

I'm too tired to remember much about the ride, as I was really struggling, riding slower and slower. On the way back down the hill into the valley at the back of Sawdon it was really slippy. A few fallers, the worst of which was Alistair, who despite weighing about eight stone flattened a 4×4 post. He was a bit tender afterwards. He could ride but not put much pressure down, so maybe a sprain. Hope it doesn't hurt too much in the morning, Alistair!
