Four tonight, Simon the Combine, Elect-rick, Martin & myself set of from the Falcon in persuit of the faster,fitter  young gun's, but by the time we crossed the road they were out of sight, and we only saw them once and considering Harwood Dale isn't so big it was surprising.

We did the usual loop around the fire track twice in order that we could take in the delights of the downhills at “hanger off hill” and the “slippery slip”, we passed my failed attempt to clear a fallen tree earlier in the day (chain saw broke), along some good single track before heading back uphill towards the main road, then  a left through some boggy stuff before a nice little track leading down to fairy wood. Decided this week not to return up fairy wood but to go left and left at the bottom, wasn't great, going back up fairy would have been better.

We then headed up towards the road and crossed to the “otherside” where Martin misjudged the kerb and kissed the tarmac! On reaching the Falcon / Ravenscar Bridleway I gave the guys a choice early bath or muddy bath, they went for the latter!  We went up to three lords stone and did a left left which I've not done for a long time, it wasn't bad! The worst bit was back on the bridleway propper going back to the Falcon could do with a good frost to dry it up.

Back at the Falon, young guns already back, a couple of us stopped for a quick drink.
