Met at the falcon again to test out another new loop.Langdale Rich,Hackness Mike,LittleHopper and myself

We headed into the west side of Harwood dale forest and down a nice technical downhill which brings you to cowgate slack, crossed over there and a nice singletrack to the main fire road, heading south down the horse hoof trail and eventually out to the road to head for Cloughton woods and the new stuff.Unfortunatly Richards bike didnt want to stay in gear so he decided to make his way back

About a mile on the road and onto gowlands lane and into the wood, managed to do about a 6 mile loop all in a mile radius with singletrack, technical downhills and strength sapping climbs,so a bit of everything really, even managed to throw myself over the bars, headed north to the top of the wood and back out onto gowlands lane up to the top of it and cross the whitby road for a nice singletrack down to Cloughton moor house and onto the green lane which is in a bad state in places which is a real shame because it makes the loop to head back towards the falcon,we opted to go up through the wood and crossed the main road once again and took a route bringing us out at taydale farm and back to the pub for a well earned pint.

11 miles in all but was hard going in places but luckily all rideable so another route for us

Need to find a meeting place in Cloughton or Burniston as got a nice track in goosedale to try which takes us to Cloughton woods and beyond,Laugh
