Well i let Little Hopper lead! I think he knew about last Tuesday's 14 mile hilly ride and decided to out do us! He did! 15 miles and that was with a short cut. We rode up, down, up, down, etc etc. Anvil Nick came over all at one with nature and hugged a tree, or else he was just plain exhausted! Hackness Mike on his new Lapierre, sorry i mean long term test bike was thrilled to be able to get it really mucky and also discovered he was able to pogo down the Pace downhill due to not quite getting the rebound settings right! It was great to see Jane out, she won the clog your fork competition which brought her Scott bike to a complete stand still! Plumber Dave on a Scott too was rather pleased he was running a thinner tyre, Brother Paul was just pleased to be back out on his Zesty whilst Russ and Nigel are both awaiting the arrival of……… their long term Zesty test bikes and pleased not to be out on then in tonights mud. I had to be gentle with my bike, the gears are worn out, last ride they were fine but tonight they said enough's enough, so a visit to the bike doctor for me. Langdale Richard decided if he is to continue in his quest to win the cup for most brakes blocks then he would need to fit them himself, which he had done, correctly rather to his surprise! We were not back until nearly 9pm but all agreed a brilliant ride, and a very nice pint after too!
