what time does the ride start please 

The ride starts at 9.30 from Low Dalby visitors centre on Tuesday 27th. Have only just checked the thread of this forum so apologies, however it has been posted with full details above. Hope to see a few of us out. Our fancy dress is rather tenuous…..!!

The first Christmas Fancy Dress mountain bike ride got off to a fine start. Adam and Susie won the best dressed award, resplendant in full dinner suit and jockey outfit respectively. Susie did doubly well, her 3rd only ever time on a mountain bike and she hurtled herself around the red run brilliantly. Also out was Jackie in her red fleece top which should have had a white fur trim but hadn't had time, Siobhan with Christmas baubles attached to hat and her, Nigel “if I rode more often you would remember my name” sported a fine pair of sparkly antler things, Simon wore tinsel, and Bay Chris, Matt, Pickering Dave, Pickering Rich and John Lawrence turned up dressed brilliantly as, errr, mountain bikers. Much much later Dan joined us in the cafe, suspiciously clean dressed as a road biker, saying he'd cycled in on his road bike.

The ride took an amble on and off the red route, at a social pace to suit all of us. People peeled off as necessary but we all did meet back at Purple Mountain cafe after for a festive coffee. So 12 met up at the cafe, numbers varied actually during the ride.

This will be repeated next year, and I am going to work on my outfit now.
