Martin and myself were right up with “all the young dudes” until we left the Rosette car park!, by the time we reached the turn off for Raincliffe they were probably somehwere over the lofty skies. We had a brief conversation about where we would go and like the young dudes went up the steep bridleway at the side of the mere. Our intentions were to clean it up, but you guessed…it was a good push to the top in conditions similar to that of a sauna with 100% humidity.

At least we knew Nirvana was at the top, Martin knowing the trail well went of like a bat out of hell, I eventually caught up with him in at the nettle farm (must be a market somewhere, nettle soup anyone?), shorts where definately not the order of the day. We did the bomb hole bit and and continued round to the very overgrown bridleway which goes up the side of the field. I was stung on my left bingo wing by some *******, felt a bit like a dandy in the underword after that incident, I throbbed all night long (my arm stupid).

We bombed up to the arial where we discussed options, with rain looming, Martin not been out for a couple of weeks, said ******* sting and the motivator not being with us we opted for a return to the cadilac. So we went searching for utopia and the slider downhill bit, which was brill, worth the push and all the stings.

Both enjoyed the ride, pity we where only 2, come on you socialites winters coming and Tuesday nights are for riding.

See you Thursday at Cropton, anyone want a lift give me a call 07834541057 no dreamy lady's I'm married aint life a gas.Laugh
