Well numbers are dropping a little but we still had 12 out tonight. We met at the Everley at Hackness and as a fair few were suffering from colds, bad backs, headaches, etc etc, we decided to have a gentle start, you got it, straight up Wrench Green! Whilst we got our breath back after the climb Lewis treated us to a striptease whilst informing us he had no protection! Fortunately Siobahn arrived at this point and clearly taking her new nickname, Sarge seriously (you have to come out to keep up with all the in jokes!) ,  ordered him to get dressed and back on his bike. We decided to ride Hackness Mike's route, an interesting concept in itself, (have to be there to get it!). It pretty much became clear we would need to split into two groups, Hackness Mike leading off with Nigel, Anvil Nick, Andy 'jelly Bean', lee and his brother, who didn't look too upset to be leaving Lewis with us. Us being, Myself, Matt, Sarge, lewis, and Chris “Tedman” or Father Ted to his friends! I may have got a nick name, Scout (had to be there!) I rather liked it, will have to see if it sticks. Between us Lewis, Father Ted and i found our way round Hackness Mike's route with just a few detours, not bad since i last did it in May, some tracks had been blocked off and boy it does look different in the dark! We beat the fast group back, ok they may have gone further, well Mike was leading! Have fun whilst im away and hopefully one or some of you will post details or impressions of the rides. Wish me luck in the Marathon, think of me on 10/10/10, about 12pm, i will just be setting off!
