Things are SLOWLY improving. Chris from ravenscar says railway line rideable from cloughton to ravenscar and a few of the bridleways can be used to make a loop. Matt says whisperdales almost rideable so hopefully by the weekend. raincliffe top track ok but slushy everywhere else which makes for traction problems! Dalby is a total no go area. The trails are covered in deep snow and ice and are made impassable by fallen branches brought down by the weight of the snow. also any riding delays things as riders compact the snow creating ice which delays it melting!

i remember  when you could ride all through the winter, if it snowed it lasted only a few days, oh god, im turning into my grandmother. In my day! and you try telling that to the young today and they just won't believe you!
