Us (usually 2 of us!) from Malton Wheelers ride on a Friday morning. We set off from the Station at 9:15. If the wind is blowing in the right direction, we could meet half way if you fancy that.

Damn good Engineering Draughtsman, air cooled VW lover and Karmann Ghia owner.

I waited until gone 10 past 10 but was starting to get really cold. Sorry if I missed you. I totally understand if you goy to Snainton after I had left, the wind must of been in your face all the way. I averaged 11 to 12 mph into the wind!

Sorry for leaving you stranded  Matthew, we got there late about 10:20 or so. You guessed right, the wind caused us a few problems and made for a fairly slow unpleasant ride out there. We stuck around for a few mins to see if you were about but we started to feel the cold also, so we turned back and had a suprisingly pleasant ride through troutsdale and back home. A bit too windy to feel safe on the main roads but it was good to get out, pity it didnt work out quite right though! Smile
