from Paragon forum:

Inter Club - Sunday 10th October at 11am V415

Just wanted to remind everyone of the Inter Club 10m event at Burton Fleming on Sunday 10th October. Start time for this 10 miler is 11am, so riders need to be there to sign on about 1030hrs latest really. Sign on at the Village Hall in Burton Fleming - normal entry fee £2 seniors, £1.50 juniors.

Thanks to our President Stan Chadwick for covering the cost of the village hall hire.

Historically, Scarborough Paragon applied with the CTT to have a late club event, as more of a social get-together, and shared the organisation with Malton Wheelers and Bridlington CC. In years gone by, Clifton CC used to be part of that, extending the responsibility to up to 4 clubs. That was in the days when we held it on the V418 (A169 between Malton and Pickering), with a base afterwards at the Black Bull pub. As they do sometimes, things dwindled, and in more recent years it's been between Malton, SPCC and Brid. but guest riders are always welcome. Just because you're not part of the trio of clubs sharing the organisation, doesn't mean you can't ride. A donation towards refreshments or offering help on the day is always welcome, but not expected. Hull riders have also come along in the last few seasons.

I didn't want to get my hair wet Wink. Don't think he'll be doing it but I'll try and persuade him to so I can restore some pride and beat him because he keeps reminding me about being 5 seconds faster in the Hackness hill climb Frown

We are riding out from Malton. If you live on the way, we could pick you up! Catch our “train”.

Damn good Engineering Draughtsman, air cooled VW lover and Karmann Ghia owner.

I think the trains are shut tomorrow because of construction, I don't even think I'll be riding at all tomorrow because I've lost my computer file for my Chemistry coursework so I've got to do it again plus revise for some mocks next week, oh joy Surprised

Here are the results from today's time trial at Burton Fleming. Good number of riders out, though only me and Jeff from Richardsons. I was 13th, Jeff 14th. It was a breezy day, with the wind in the east making the last leg to the finish hard. I struggled a bit riding fixed wheel.
