Do you all know about “Jims training rides” down towards Hull on a Saturday afternoon, 2PM during Jan and Feb.

A group of us Maltoners go to these and are great training for road racing. Although not on at the moment due to the “S” (dont mention the snow) they will be on as soon as possible.

These rides are open to EVERYONE, yet gives EVERYONE a good work out. The riders are split up into 4 or 5 groups and the groups work together as in a road race - chaingang. I tend to leave the sprint for the finish line to other riders - its too early to be knocked off the bike.
