Come on then what do you think??

Should he have waited when schleck slipped his chain?

I say no he should not have waited..Schleck attacked and Contador responded if schleck had crashed then he probably should  have waited.

Without a doubt he should of waited.  Ullrich and Armstrong never attacked each other when one had a problem.  Indurain never attacked chiappucci.

But Contador is not like the above and it is a close tour this year so every second counts.

Contador was on the ropes, Schleck would have done him for minutes. Contador responded too late he was dozzing, Vino went with him first to cover the move for Contador.

It's just not fair play as they say, like Maradonna hand of god, it's cheating. Latino's just don't give a s**t.

I hope he's pleased with himself, he said sorry but it means nothing, he should wait on Saturday in the TT start hut for 31+8 secs if he is 'really' sorry regardless what happens on Thursday.

Contador might not be as good in the TT as people think, he looks a bit tired to me and has relied on teammates, where as Schleck has worked mainly on his own on the hills, cos Frank (the back-up climber on the team) is out.

I think that Contador should have waited! Yell I hope Schleck makes an attack and beats him now! if not Saxo Bank should pay someone to sabotage Contdors bike so Schleck can return the favour Laugh

i doubt shleck would of gained much time… the time gap contador had at the top of the climb was bigger at the finish, contador would of been in the bigger group, and probably caught him a little on the descent.

shleck will probably lose over a min on the tt.

should make for a good day tomorrow, shlecks gotta go,

Yes will be good tomorrow schleck has to go.

But on the matter of wating or not I still say Contador did the right thing in the circumstances:

1. The attack had been put in by Schleck - race was on

2. Contador had other riders to worry about apart from Schleck he could have lost time to other riders

3. I bet his team manager would have told him to go - I can imagine the sponsors would have something to say!

4. Schleck never waited for Contador oin the pave in the earlier stages when he was caught in the crash

5. there has been numerous times when in the Tour Riders have not waited…………….its a bike race and when the race is on then if you get a mechanical its tough.
