Those club members that went to our track days will remember our coach Mark Barry who came with his son Lewis Barry (15 years).  Lewis lives in Leeds and was a keen track cyclist.  Lewis is shown in the video which is linked from the front of our website.

Lewis was found dead this morning (29th June) and apparently died in his sleep.   

awful news, very very shocked and sorry to hear.

It is terrible news and I cannot imagine what his parents must be going through.  I remember him from our 2 track sessions and he was a highly talented lad and had huge potential to be a great cyclist.  My heart goes out to his Mum and Dad.  I read on the Time Trialling Forum that Mark and his wife turned out to cheer on at their local time trial on Wednesday evening which is amazing.  Hats off to them!
