Hi
Welcome to the Official Tour of Britain Newsletter, presented by Outsourcery, the UK’s leading provider of unified communications and hosted IT solutions for business.
With just over a week to until The Tour of Britain you can now download the full provisional start list, from here on the website, which contains World, Olympic and Commonwealth Champions, plus stage winners from all three Grand Tours.
The Race Manual is now online here, so you can download this comprehensive guide to The Tour of Britain and check out the ETAs and precise details of each stage.
To make sure you have all the details you need for spectating at The Tour, there are also more detailed stage maps now available, allowing you to get more detail than ever before on each of the stages, thanks to Ordnance Survey, our Official Mapping Partner, and their OpenSpace platform.
Just head to the ‘Race’ section of the website and click on the ‘View Route Map’ tab on the right hand side of the page, which will launch a map allowing you to zoom in on the route right up to 1:50 000 Ordnance Survey Landranger scale.
This weekend also sees The Prostate Cancer Charity South West Tour Ride taking place on Sunday. Online registrations have now closed but people will be able to sign up to ride alongside the likes of comedian David Schneider and Olympic gold medallist, Daley Thompson, on Saturday from 2pm in Minehead and Teignmouth and on the day itself.
There’s still time to sign up for The Prostate Cancer Charity Tour Rides in London and Stoke-on-Trent by clicking here, giving cyclists of all ages and abilities the chance to Unite ByCycling and measure themselves against the professionals riding The Tour of Britain.
There’s nothing to match the exciting crowd atmosphere as a professional cycle race speeds past, so why not get out there and join the crowds as they cheer the riders in The Tour of Britain on? We look forward to seeing you there!
