Don't forget that it's the second of the Richardsons CC 'King of Speed' series on Monday night: a 10-mile TT from Musham Bank roundabout. Meet there before 7pm, £2 entry fee. You can do it on any roadworthy bike - except a recumbent. The weather forecast is good: a 3mph wind.

There's only limited parking at Musham Bank (half a dozen cars max) but don't forget you can park at Morrison's car park (or lots of other places).

I was time keeping, Mike. I doubt I'd have done a 23:30, though, given that Matthew Enticknap of Malton Wheelers did 23:24. I've beaten Matthew exactly once, and that was when he was on his winter training bike and I was on my TT bike. Normally he would beat me by over a minute, and he's caught me for three before.

My personal best is only 23:10 at the moment, and that was on the V718. It was on a cheap as chips fixed wheel bike with normal wheels, though.
