Just me from RCC down at South Cave today, for a ride on the fast V718 course. Conditions were pretty good, but there was a SE breeze that made the shorter outward leg a bit of a push - especially as I'd upped the gearing from 48×14 to 48×13. It was a flyer on the way back, though.

I did 23:18, an average speed 25:75mph. Not the fastest I've ridden but not far off, which I'll take as a consolation (seeing as it's only April) after being beaten by Paragon's Mike Scott by 3 seconds. Yell The event was won by Michael Hutchinson, who did it in 18:07. Surprised
