Just me racing from RCC tonight in the 5-race Team Swift 10-mile TT series near Hull, as far as I know. Mark's down to race it too but I didn't see him. 

Weather wasn't as bad down there as it was in Scarborough - cloudy, and with a nagging northerly wind, but dry. Times were accordingly not great, but I was happy enough with 23:54 (just over 25mph). 

There were a few Scarborough Paragon riders - Tommo (21-something, I think), Mick Storey (21-30ish?) and Dave Priestman (24:11) - plus a couple of Malton Wheelers riders - Paul Hickman and C Goodway. Not sure of their times, but I'm pretty sure they beat me convincingly. 

It's frustrating to watch riders overtake you without any apparent effort.  Like the guy who started three minutes behind me. But on the plus side, I caught a rider who set off EIGHT minutes in front of me. And as I was off fairly early, I got the pick of the cake table afterward. Doughnut. Mmmm. 

Yes sorry first race was working in Manchester with British Cycling and last night was working late at Whitby currently doing Whiby job plus area role…just busy busy!
