RCC Club Dinner

Food! Beer! Prizes! Brighten up the dregs of January by booking your ticket to the Annual Club Dinner (which sounds all formal, but won’t be). It’s at the Everley Country Hotel, at Hackness, on 29th January. It’s a three-course meal with coffee and chocolates afterwards, priced at £25 per person. Tickets are limited to 60 so don’t leave it too late to get yours.

Tickets are available NOW from Richardsons Cycle Shop. Please pay by cheque (payable to Richardsons Cycle Club) or by cash. Your ticket will get you in, but your meal choice needs to be booked in advance (otherwise it’ll be: whatever’s left). After you’ve got your ticket(s), please contact Jackie Hough by email with your menu choice(s) no later than 1st January. Jackie is: jackiehough@btconnect.com

You can request to sit on a table together with friends. Just let Debbie know as you pay for your ticket at the shop.

Homemade mushroom and sherry soup with warm bread (v)

Fresh fruit platter with passion fruit sorbet (v)

Hot bacon, mushroom, silver skin onion and new potato salad with a Dijon mustard dressing

Smoked salmon volauvent with prawns, capers and dill mayonnaise

Mains

Roast Sirloin of beef with home made Yorkshire pudding

Pan fried chicken breast with a whisky cream sauce

Oven baked salmon with a herb crumb and a smoked salmon asparagus sauce

Caramelised red onion and blue Wensleydale cheese tart with a port wine sauce (v)

 

To finish

Sticky toffee pudding with custard

Lemon tart with fresh cream and lime dressing

Chocolate and Whisky cream roulade with liqueur cherries
